This Is A Black And White Maritime / Seascape Photo In Landscape Format. A Calm And Sunlit Sea Fills The Lower Quarter Of The Image. Stretching From Slightly Right Of Centre Towards The Left Margin And Taking Up About Seventy-Five Percent Of The Length Of The Photo Is A Large (284m) Light Grey Aircraft Carrier. The View Is Oblique With The Stern And Port Beam In Sight. Surrounding The Vessel Are Four Tugs With Some More Out Of Sight And A Few Escort Launches. The Ship Is Distinctive Having A Ski Jump Ramp On The Bow Enabling Its F-35 V/STOL Aircraft To Become Airborne Without The Aid Of A Catapult. Also Unusual Are The Two Islands (Superstructures Above The Deck On The Starboard Side) The Forward Island For Navigation And Ship Operations, The Aft For Airborne Operation. Walking at the ocean.

Farbbild im Portrait Format. Zwei Personen laufen sehr nah beieinander in Richtung Sonnenuntergang. Die Szene ist gerahmt durch mehrere Strandkörbe die wie die Personen aber nur als schwarze Silhouette erkennbar sind. Vor den Menschen ist ein wenig Meer zu erkennen. Über den Menschen, leicht verdeckt durch einen Strandkorb sieht man die untergehende Sonne. Alles ist in ein sanftes orangenes Licht getaucht.
