Glühwein in 6€-Sammel("Pfand")tassen mit Schuss um die Scheiße zu ertragen, dazu Bratwurst, Kitsch, "Musik" und Kinderbespaßung. Daneben der Fischbrötchen-Stand, China-Textilien in Weihnachtsmuster und "Honig aus Schweden".

Ding ist jedenfalls dass der Rechner da steht wo ich schlecht ran komme, darum fährt der hoch wenn Strom angeschaltet wird und schaltet seine Steckdose beim shutdown aus.
Dadurch kann ich den Rechner per Fernbedienung einschalten.

I read a post recently that outlined a likely reason: Facebook needs to stay a growth company unless they want to lose most of their value. It's the same reason NFTs moved into AI and why AI is simultaneously a god that will change everything and a poor word guesser.
Once a company transitions from "growth" to "stable" they lose the ability to print stock that will be accepted like money and their valuation tanks fast. That's why they keep making up bullshit that will never do anything -- to keep from maturing.

Fuck forcing people to set pins on hardware tokens. Fuck defaulting to allowing a hardware token to log in without the password. Fuck making every mobile device you own a first class token and making login attempt spam a thing again.
I get that passwords are broken. I don't have a problem with the idea behind passkeys as such for less-technical users (although fuck vendor lock-in and non-portable credentials), but do not fuck over technical users trying to protect critical systems by breaking their workflows or destroying basic security primitives.
