Orte mit drei-stelligem Gründungsdatum sind hier rar. Mein Heimatort feierte kurz nach der Wende sein 700-Jähriges bestehen und das kam mir unglaublich alt vor.
Und wenn dann jemand nach "Wann passierte X in Ort Y?" fragt, hast du praktisch nur noch so 500-Jahre wohldokumentierte Geschichte zur Auswahl. Mit "Wird schon vor 1850 gewesen sein?" reduziert es sich schnell noch weiter.
…und dann hast du Koblenz, Speyer oder Neuss, die alle über 2000 Jahre alt sind!
Immer diese römisch-gegründeten Städte, da kann so ALLES als Zeitangabe richtig sein!

So I found a tactic that's working in my YouTube comments- thought I'd share.
If someone complains that a software I recommended is "woke", I ask them "what does that mean? Can you say more about that?"
They never say more. They delete their comment instead.
My tactic is to make them say what they mean. They won't.
Because they're cowards.
After finding out I dry the dogs off after it rains with old towels, a relative has been dropping off some of her old towels for us to use on the dogs. They're better quality than the ones we actually buy for ourselves so we have been using them instead.
