@fefe_interim This is terrifying, as it is happening all over the place, not only Apple. The thresholds for any "potentially fraudulent" activity have to be so low, that a lot of people are affected many, many times (especially older ones, with less technical ability than yours). Any contact is limited to AI, chatbots and FAQ-sites and do not offer any real decision power in case of a system glitch - which you have fallen victim of. The IT-#catch22-situations are piling up.
@fefe_interim Wow, this is pretty bad, esp. the mad house of working one's way through the disfunctional customer support. I can't even imagine the hell that this is.
Leute knüpfen ihre Geräte, ihre Backups, ihre Authentifizierung und selbst ihre Mails und Fähigkeiten zum Arbeiten an ein Konto bei einem einzigen Megakonzern.
Der braucht nicht mal ein ernsthaftes Problem mit dir selbst zu haben. Eine Automatisierung die dich als Spam flaggt oder so und das ist alles weg.
Zack! Kein Gericht, keine übergeordnete Instanz die du anrufen kannst… alles pfutsch!

@dat @fefe_interim hab mir das Gleiche gedacht beim Lesen. Komplett abhängig gemacht von einem Anbieter und anscheinend auch kein Back Up ausser in der Cloud 🤷

Nicht vergessen 🍎 sind die Guten, die sich für die Privatsphäre opfern und wo man ja nicht dass Produkt ist weil man so total abgezockt wird für die Hardware, die brauchen hat nicht unfair spielen mit den Daten.

Wieso auch, Apple ist ja einer solide Firma? Hat du nicht genug Apple Propaganda geschaut?
Und Cloud Backup zielt gerade ja auf darauf ab dass es mühelos ist.
