I would have to look carefully to see if I use GNU/Linux (my PC) or Android/Linux (my phone) more. Probably my phone.
@rperezrosario Currently, my daily driver is a Mac, but I spend a disproportionate amount of time in the macOS terminal, and since sometime in the early 00s I've had 2 or 3 Linux-dual-boot or all-Linux systems that I was happy with at the time. I'd happily go back to something similar in the future if I felt I needed to.
I use a Windows box at work, but I do not plan to use Windows by choice anywhere else for the foreseeable future.
Its up to the shitty devs to tick a box in their AC to make the 9 percent work then 1 percent incompatible
I started using Linux when we only had quake and DDR and it has come so far I can play almost any game I want without issue the only games that can't are the ones that have kernel level anticheat but even then there are plenty of anti cheat games that work fine on Linux I would wait until the gabecube gets released because that will send an important signal to developers that Linux is becoming a player in the gaming space.
They don't have to make nateed builds for Linux we don't need that Thanks to wine and Proton we need them to Tick a Box
I decided I got so fed up with Windows that those games aren't worth it for me anymore we all reached that point sooner or later and it makes the transition so much more rewarding
Also open source has a furry problem, I'm not making that up.
Debian at home and at work. I reluctantly use android as the best of a bad situation.

@rperezrosario NetBSD on the desktop, FreeBSD on the laptop (only for the *very* recent 802.11ac Wi-Fi driver support).

(Besides: if you wouldn't use Mastodon, you'd be able to offer a lot more poll options. Mastodon is quite restricted in that regard, beside others.)

@rperezrosario - I can imagine that a poll on #mastodon causes a significant #bias. I didn't expect the bias to be that strong, however.

...mostly driod linux kernel, some people with iphone kernel.

#Linux doesn't play any major role when you look at common #OS #statistics. However, here, it's the OS of choice for the majority of this tiny minority. 🤓
