You want a Holocaust? Because this is how you get a Holocaust.

@Lana W.T.a.F?

@Lana fuck.

I'm german. There was a point where I said "I'm not boosting anything about those stupid US of Ass idiots anymore. That region of the world is utterly lost and there's no way around that anymore"

And then there's videos like thisโ€ฆ where I justโ€ฆ IDK?

This is somehow worse than the idiotic shit people back in Nazi Germany were saying? At least those dumb fucks had no education AND were "only" calling for the mass-murder of "others". Not even back then they were into "Yeah, go kill my own children!"

I can just try to retain that tiny sliver of hope that says "This video is staged, right? Nobody is THAT stupid!".

But it's getting thin. Really thin.

@Lana fucking psychopaths

@Lana wow, that leaves me speechless

@Lana

Sorry, couldnโ€™t finish the podcast. These folks are out of their fucking minds! Bomb a US city if the fat orange bastard gives the order??? WTAF!

@Lana i live in Oklahoma. I've talked to people here that are exactly like this. I do not believe this video was staged. America is in a cult.

@oldguy52

And these people are Oklahomans with whom we live with here ๐Ÿ˜ฑ

@Lana

@thezenlady @oldguy52

I keep trying to tell people but I don't think I've broken through the nose yet. The sentence "your friends and neighbors are Nazis who will celebrate your death" is not hyperbole or exaggeration. It is merely the unvarnished truth of the reality we live in. Trump has radicalized these people. They are violent and unstable and will loudly cheer their Lord and Savior Trump when he orders your execution.

@Lana

At least our neighbors are not in the cult and we plan to band together to protect each other here in a racially and culturally diverse neighborhood. I'm glad we don't live in one of the white upper class neighborhoods in south Tulsa which is full of MAGAts!

@oldguy52

@Lana @thezenlady @oldguy52

It happened in Germany.
And in Bosnia/Kosovo.
And in Rwanda.

People who had been neighbors for decades, who ate together, helped one another with yardwork, babysitting, cooking...turned each other in to the police, raped and murdered one another, burned down houses.

@Lana Back in the old country, the first camps were for the communists. Essh.

@dat @Lana it's the lack of empathy and dehumanisation of anyone that is not them, even their own children. And there might also be some sprinkle of boomer entitlement there.

@Lana Is this real? Holy effing shit. I've heard these people *talked about* but I never really heard them talk. Guess the leopards haven't gotten to their faces yet.

@KateConnors yes it's real. The younger couple run a podcast called "the necessary conversation". The two boomer age folks are the younger woman's parents. He is their son in law. That's why he keeps calling them Mom and Dad. They're literally cheering for the military execution of their own son and daughter.

@MaitreCrevettes @dat @Lana ...sorry to nitpick, "even their own children" is not a hard line imho. Some parents kill, maim, hurt their children ; some parents do it when their children are underage and extra vulnerable, others continue even as their children are adults, sometimes just shifting HOW they do it.
I don't think for a second parents like this used to be caring and gentle, and did a 180 in less than a decade. Trump appeals to the worst. Some parents are the worst.

@Lana You're right. No question this is how the Holocaust happened.

@ladyteruki @dat @Lana oh, I definitely agree. It was just in response to the previous comment. Some people don't care for their children already, it's not a surprise they would sacrifice them to an ideology. It's taking place everywhere, whether it's sexism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism..

@MaitreCrevettes @dat @Lana : I get what you mean :) In a way for me it reminds me how we know that there is almost always a track record of violence against women when it comes to mass shootings, and every time it happens people point out "maybe if we had done something about the misogyny in the first place !". Which, they are correct. But I suspect if we also did that for abusive parents, we'd solve a lot of the things we see in this video.
