I am begging you, if you are a restaurant, you need to have a web presence other than Facebook and Instagram. I don't have those, and therefore can't see anything about your business!
…and giving opening times and a rough approximation of your menu is a must too!
Add a phone number and you got yourself a CHEAP way for people to order take-away or book seats? (just imagine: not giving large corporations money for that!)
There's even paid services that set all that for you up AND let people book places online if you really need to.

If you were a restaurant on Facebook, consider that your page could be associated with I don’t know what kind of content. But in a moment the platform can make you invisible or take you your account away from you.
It’s it takes work to build alternatives instead of doing the path of least exit resistance, but the pathway of least resistance offered to you is a cage
@Ashedryden Concur. Infact I'd advise *any* business to use proprietary social media platforms only to funnel their customers to a platform the business actually controls.
