My direct line manager has terrible BO, and no one can tell him because we're too worried it will hurt their feelings. How do we do it discreetly?

@fesshole At university a professor with BO became Dean, and the student variety show had a lead song on stage “Sweaty Eric is out leader…..” which caused him to walk out, followed by all the lecturers (who were smirking when he wasn’t looking).
Doesn’t help your problem but was a great memory for me.

@fesshole Could be a food intolerance. I'm told that a guy at work used to be quite stinky, got nicknames and the like but then discovered they were gluten intolerant. Stopped on the bread and the like and it all went away.

Broach it carefully though.
