We were helping a mate shift rocks from his garden. Needed air in the wheelbarrow tyre, and not knowing what the correct pressure should be, we guessed 60psi like for a bicycle. The tyre exploded as he was wheeling a full barrow of rocks down his path. Sorry Steve

The pressure was read without load. Putting items in there increased pressure in the tire. Plus sixty was way too much. Like someone said, the correct pressure is written on the tire
Nowadays, Tyres are idiot-proof and come with values written on the side.

I already knew it is like 20psi but I took 10 seconds to Google it and confirmed it is usually 20 to 30psi.
No excuse for this in this day and age.
Lucky it didn't blow up in their faces when they were filling it.
