I've never liked cake, so always asked for a birthday chocolate mousse. That stopped the year I invited Alvin. He didn't know that my mum had made the mousse with eggs. We didn't know he was allergic. Most exciting birthday party ever. The ambulance crew did a great job.

@fesshole But cakes have eggs... Surely if you were allergic to eggs you'd ask for almost every dessert?

@fesshole I always ask for cheesecake for my birthday because most of the not-premium cake is just not enjoyable to me. The frosting is too sugary and the actual cake is too sweet while not having enough flavor or body. I've certainly had good cake but your average cheap cake is so much less good than your average cheap cheesecake.
