I would rather see your shittiest most half-assed napkin doodle than a single frame of your finest AI slop.

@summerfallwinter @nonehitwonder sorry, that doesn't look half-assed

@dat ha! You should see what my whole-ass looks like... wait, no...

(I've been practicing hand-lettering for a few years now, so this was indeed a C+ effort. Maybe B-.)

@summerfallwinter @dat Yes please! Is there somewhere we can see that? Er, “that” being your whole-assed *work*, I don’t know you well enough for anything else >_<

@crowbriarhexe @dat a company paid me to do their signs for a bit, so that was indeed a whole-ass effort.

On a chalk board, in oil pastels, are drawn bagels and a mix of colors and "fonts" saying:
Bagel Tuesday
the 2nd Tuesday of every month
12 bagels for $6.50 - no limits On a chalk board, in oil pastels, are drawn drinks and a mix of colors and "fonts" saying: Happy Hour Specials
Beers, mimosas, sangria
$2 off any pitcher or carafe 4pm-6pm
Bring your friends On a black sign board, in acrylic paint makers, is a drink advertisement in a mix of colors and "fonts" saying:
Summer Smoothies
Meet your matcha (matcha green tea, plain yogurt, honey, banana, and mango)
Coconut cold brew (cold brew coffee, coconut syrup, and vanilla ice cream) On a chalk board, in oil pastels, are drawn beers clinking and a mix of colors and collegiate "fonts" saying:
Welcome Home Alumni
Join us for a free (the rest of the sign is cut off)

@crowbriarhexe @dat I also like making love puns for my love, and cards for friends, and sometimes a page or three in my calendar/journal/to-do-list gets fancy.

A white card has a splotched watercolor rainbow background, and in dark purple calligraphy it says "oh the hue-manatee" (oh the humanity). To the side is a simple line drawing of a manatee. On white card is a watercolor drawing of two potted cacti and the words: you are my soilmate. The paints and brush are in the top corner. On white card is a watercolor painting of two small tomatoes connected on the vine and the words: "I love you from my head tomatoes" (I love you from my head to my toes) At the top of a journal page is the word "december" in calligraphy script. The word is light blue at the top and has a dot gradient to dark blue at the bottom, almost looking like confetti falling within the letters. On the opposite page, the edge of a month calendar is partially visible.
