Sunrise over a river. The sky is yet dark, deep blue, streaked heavily with clouds. A slender line of golden light extends across the distant horizon, promising day; below, the river reflects back the nearly iridescent colours of the sky, blue and purple and gold, shimmering dully in the pre-dawn light. Forest silhouettes against the horizon on the river’s far sides.

I'm really proud of myself, I've managed to hand sculpt & paint my own Trypanohyncha Ocellus aka The Eye (or Eyeball Paul as I like to call it) from Alien Earth.

It came out much better than I had anticipated
especially with my wobbly hands when painting and even more so once I'd set it up for a proper photoshoot.

As usual this photo was all done practically using real miniatures, lighting & this time my own homemade figure.

The Eye escapes from its container (tipped over in the background) and walks along a work surface. It has four pupils on show and many tentacles at its base.

Ja, ich wollte auch eines dieser #Mondbilder machen… ich war nur zu faul Stativ und ähnliches zu holen oder gar die Beleuchtung manuell im Detail einzustellen.

Darum nur mit der #Alpha6000 und so viel Tele wie da ist drauf gehalten. Versuche da per Editor mehr rauszuholen scheitern auch.
