Sind es gute Wohnhäuser? Nein. (aber kaum Leerstand jemals)

Aber es ist eine Attraktion und ich bin mir sicher dass das Hostel schon einfach nur seiner Architektur wegen viel Umsatz macht.

es gibt natürlich Innenwände und das Treppenhaus bevor man oben im Würfel ist

Aber alles andere ist 45°, ja 😁

Um das auszugleichen ist auch nicht viel Platz und alle Räume sind um Treppe in der Mitte angeordnet. Zusätzlich ist wohl die Isolation nicht doll, weshalb das Dachgeschoss ziemlich unangenehm warm ist.

Bad ist ohne Fenster, Möbel müssen praktisch vollständig Sonderanfertigungen sein, Kaufpreis pro Haus war absurd hoch. Und 24/7 hast du Touristen vor deiner Haustür, die Fotos von deinen Fenstern machen. (zu deren Putzvorgang die Zusammenfassung "warte lieber auf starken Regen!" lautete)

Ich lebe mit Frau und Kind auf knapp 90m² Reihenmittelhaus, Baujahr "vor über hundert Jahren". Wir haben mehr Platz UND können mehr davon sinnvoll nutzen.

Die Würfelhäuser sind weniger real sinnvolle Wohnhäuser als mehr so special-interest, ich-kaufte-ein-Hobby Dinger.

Etliche, verbundene Wohnhäuser, jedes ist ein gelber Würfel, der auf einer Ecke balanciert Gestaltet als "Dorf im Stadtzentrum" sind es jeweils Einfamilienhäuser. Mehrere größere Würfel enthalten ein Museum und ein Hostel. Die Häuser überspannen eine Straße und liegen unmittelbar im Zentrum von Rotterdam, gegenüber der Markthalle. Mehr der Häuser, aus der Mitte zwischen ihnen aufgenommen Nochmals paar Häuser von unten Man sieht auch Eingänge im jeweiligen Sockel

Ashes of the Afternoon

This photograph captures the sunset to the west of my home. Silhouetted treetops line the bottom of the frame, quiet and dark. Above them, the sky ignites—scattered clouds drift at varying heights, catching the light. The colors shift upward: yellow near the horizon, fading into pale blue overhead.
