A landscape photo of a sunrise in North Berwick, on the east coast of Scotland. The bottom section is almost totally black, comprised of the shore, the dark sea, and on the right hand side a mound which is the silhouette of Bass Rock, a steep-sided volcanic plug in the Firth of Forth, home to a lighthouse and a colony of gannets. The sun is peeking up behind some low clouds, lining them with a golden border. Above that for a section the sky is smooth orange, then above there are layers of cloud in fuzzy orange stripes, some bright, some dark. There are silhouettes of two seabirds in front of these clouds.

Leichter Nebel wabert über dem Urftsee im Nationalpark Eifel, der Himmel ist stark bewölkt aber ein Stück ist offen und lässt die tiefstehende Morgensonne durchscheinen. So wird die ganze Szene in ein sehr besonders Licht getaucht.
Rechts und links des Sees sind bewaldete Hänge zu sehen.
