Another from last night's photogenic sunset. It was a splendid night for a cruise.

July 25, 2025. Wolverine Lake, Michigan.

Sunset photo of a large white sun with a dark horizontal cloud across its middle, cutting it into a top and bottom part. The bright sunlight is picked up in several wispy clouds, especially below the dark horizontal cloud.

Trying to trick myself into thinking it's autumn, so I can get out the house to go get a haircut. It's currently "feels like 39.4C" outside.

These from 2010 and 2017 respectively.

More details in the ALT.

Abstract shot of a momiji tree in Yoyogi Park back in 2010. All defocus and bokeh. Shot with a Mamiya ZD digital back on an AFDii body. Paired with the legendary Mamiya 80mm f/1.9. Momoji trees in our local park - Shinagawa Kumin Koen - bacj in the autumn of 2017. Deep reds, a little backlight from the sun and deep black tree trunks. Shot on a Mamiya 127mm lens I originally had for my RB67. But adapted onto my Nikons. In this case Nikon D800e.
