Schönheit des Sommers und dahinter diese Rauchwände, die seit Dienstag immer wieder an einer anderen Stelle über der Stadt auftauchen. Die Gohrischheide brennt noch immer.

Im Vordergrund ein Sonnenblumenfeld. Dahinter vereinzelte Obstbäume und Überlandleitungen. Im Hintergrund steigen bedrohlich hohe Rauchschwaden auf.

What do Bologna and Attack on Titan have in common? Three walls and tall people like me that go through them 😂! Instead of the Maria, Rosa and Sina we have The Circle/Ring of Selenite, The Circle/Ring of the Millennium and La Circla. Porta Nuova is part of the second circle - The Circle of the Millennium - named so as it is thought to have been built around the first millennium. There used to be 18 Porte (city gates) in this circle, but only 4 remain. They are called "torresotto" because they used to be under towers. Thankfully they are no longer locked so tall monsters like me can come into the centre for a snack ✨

The perspective is from beneath the large, brick archway that frames the view down a narrow street lined with old, ochre/yellow-coloured buildings.
