A Potter Wasp, Phimenes flavopictus, spotted at Ulu Sembawang Park Connector, Singapore on 24 Nov 2024. A small, common wasp, belonging to a family of wasps that make nests out of mud that resemble small pots.

A small black wasp with a pattern of yellow spots on the head and body. The wings are swept-back and dark, and it has a pear shaped abdomen connected to the body with a long, thin stalk. The wasp is feeding on a flower. Same description as first image. A view of the wasp from the back.
