Due to recent political developments, I want to present you the story of Gregor Strasser
The Rise
Gregor Strasser basically speedran the Nazi Party like someone who joins a messy startup and ends up running half the company because everyone else is too incompetent to do the paperwork.
Fresh out of World War I and the Freikorps “Angry Men’s Club,” he joined the NSDAP while it was still a beer-hall hobby project run by a charismatic rant influencer named Adolf Hitler.
While Hitler was busy perfecting his All-Caps Speech style, Strasser became the guy who actually made things work. He built local chapters, recruited members, organized regional party fiefdoms (GAU) structures, and in general did the equivalent of turning a Telegram channel into a nationwide political machine.
From 1924 to 1930 he rose like that one colleague who keeps saying “We really should have a process for this” until suddenly he is the process.

Laut neuer Studie "Mobilität in Deutschland" steigt auch die Länge der Wege auf durchschnittliche 1,7 km. Rund ein Viertel mehr als noch 2002!📈
Der Fußverkehr muss also weiter gestärkt werden. Gehwege müssen sicher & barrierefrei sein, auch im Winter. ❄️ Z.B. durch gute Beleuchtung, farbliche Markierungen und nutzungsfreundliche Ampeln u.v.m. #Fußverkehrsstrategie 🚦

I made a tally of the total planned AI data centre capacity in Scotland and I am a bit shocked: it amounts to 7.3 GW, which is as much as the entire energy consumption of Scotland, electricity + gas in 2023.
To spend as much energy on "AI" as the entire need of a country is madness. And I have no doubt that this picture would scale if I did it for the entire UK etc.
