Dominion Media Television dropped this absolute #StarTrek banger the other day and I couldn't not share it here.
One of my students showed me the printed copy of the book Doug, a Doug Doug Story, by Douglas Scott Wrenden. It is 230 pages of just the word “Doug” printed again and again. It has sold 19 million copies worldwide.
My novel is a well-crafted narrative that blends Welsh myth and language into a beautiful story of magic and family loyalty. It has sold maybe 40 copies total.
I will be spending the rest of my day at the local bar, re-evaluating my sanity, thank you.

A priest run, mostly depending on wands.
Ring of energy+5, light reading, so unequipped book recharged faster than normal/equipped. Basically fast wand reloading and a free 4th magic item.
Had the horn up until yog, so food wasn't a problem. Transmuted to greaves, but had no seed left, so that could have gone better.
Decent defense, but not much offense beside special combos and wands. Resin+3 made those specially fun.
Felt like "I'm going to die this floor" all the time, but worked out fine.

Die rassistische #Stadtbild-Äußerung gab es schon 2017 aus der Nazipartei.
Damals antwortete #Merkel: "Ich kann auf der Straße Menschen mit Migrationshintergrund, die deutsche Staatsbürger sind und solche, die die deutsche Staatsbürgerschaft nicht haben, nicht unterscheiden".
Es fällt immer wieder auf, dass Merkel trotz ihrer vielen politischen Fehlentscheidungen trotzdem eine wohlerzogene Frau ist, die als Kanzlerin noch Anstand hat(te).

It also has a lot of hard problems (I haven't worked on this, but I worked with people who had previously worked with the MS undersea datacenter).
Sea water is corrosive, so you need to have to have an internal cooling loop and do heat exchange, but piping sea water is annoying because it's entirely full of alive things. A lot of things in the sea have evolved to collect nutrients from moving water. Anything that looks like a narrow passage that water flows through is a perfect space for various families of seaweed and things like barnacles. And these things tend to be insulators. So then the heat is trapped in and the water heats up, then they die. And now you have a load of dead things in your cooling.
And a lot of these things grow really fast once they find a nice place to feed. Your cooling system looks just like their ideal underwater caves.
One of my favourite papers to review was from a Japanese team who had a material that you could wrap PCBs in and put them in water. One of their demos was to put a motherboard wrapped in their material in Tokyo bay in a plastic crate. When they got it out, the crate was completely full of seaweed. And that was without any active water flow.
