naja, überlegen würde ich nicht behaupten wollen
aber dramatisch billiger (vor allem beim Unterhalt… Faktor 10+ pro geflogene Stunde) und ohne Amerikaner überhaupt wartbar.
Das ganze Projekt macht so für Deutschland jetzt einfach keinen wirklichen Sinn mehr.

Boing/Lockhead had that huge competition about who'd win this ridicilously large contract. Every branch of the US military would buy many of those universal fighters!
Lockhead won - but right afterwards it was decided to order less of those planes.
Instead more drones would be bought by the US. Who builds those? Well, Boing is the largest supplier. Who might have guessed?
