Typ mit viel Meinung.

Nicht interessiert, aber das auf hohem Niveau.

Ich bin ja kein Nazi, aber... ...ich wohne trotzdem gerne in #Dresden.

Is it pedantic to point out that "rage bait" is *two* words?
(or am I being dim?)

Still image. Screenshot of a social media post.

I have learnt today that my library refers to me as 'the specific and highly active user' and has denied some of my purchase requests because 'we can't skew the collection too much toward the taste of the specific and highly active user'.
I did suggest roughly 100 vampire books for purchase last year. I think this probably has something to do with that.

op is there any particular reason the librarians would feel safer not invoking you by name

joseph Stiglitz's new report for the G20 (sadly the link from the Guardian is to an insecure URL) points out across the world, that:

'the richest 1% captured 41% of all new wealth since 2000, while the bottom half gained just 1%. On average, someone in the global top 1% became $1.3m richer; a person in the poorest half gained $585'... which as Stiglitz also points out isn't an accident but a choice by the world's political & business class(es).

Does anyone want a nineteenth century military sea fort for £50,000? It even includes 3 sunken barges!

Trump declares Venezuelan airspace a no fly zone.

Quick reminder: In the US only Congress can declare war.

Nevertheless, I will not be surprised if we see the US Navy bombing Caracas in December in an attempt to force regime change, because the Trump oligarchy has their eyes on the Venezuelan oil reserves — the largest in the world.

My marriage wasn't great. Ex-husband had an operation, and there was a risk he'd die on the operating table. After the op, he called to say he was fine. I realised I was disappointed he'd be coming home. I knew it was definitely time to leave.

I left a job on 1 December a few years ago and a colleague knew I was taking part in Whamageddon. As I was leaving he played Last Christmas on his phone, smirking as he did it. I still haven't forgiven the cunt and he can still stick his LinkedIn connect request up his arse.

Our fire appliance was called to "person trapped by hands". Arrived to find a lady with both hands trapped by a sash window, obviously in a lot of pain. With a bit of humour one of the crew said to her "good job you're not a concert pianist", her reply "I am"

Dancer here. If men in strip clubs knew how dancers talk about them in the dressing room, they would never come back. Best case is pity. Mostly we think you're scum. We know you all think you're the exception. Making you think that is our job.

@fesshole you learned something

There's been worse things to 'fess
